Summit Legal Technologies was founded on a simple observation: the technology providers serving law firms don't understand how law firms work. They offer the same solutions they sell to accounting offices, medical practices, and retail businesses — then wonder why attorneys struggle with tools that weren't built for them.

Our Founder
Keith Smith brings a rare combination of experience to legal technology. With a background in IT management, legal operations, and paralegal work inside a working law firm, Keith has spent years on both sides of the divide — managing the technology and doing the legal work it's supposed to support. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in Computer Science, combining academic depth with the practical, hands-on understanding that comes from operating inside a firm every day.
That dual perspective is what makes Summit Legal Technologies different. We don't guess at what attorneys need. We've lived it.
The Problem We Solve
